Towing

The Towing application records all vehicles towed and the final disposition of tow reports by an agency. All records are retrievable through the NORIS vehicle queries. This application can employ tools such as tow rotations, tow reporting, tow notice printing, and event logging. The Towing application is also integrated with the BMV registration database. This integration automatically performs a lookup and field population of the registered owner of a vehicle on every towed vehicle before it is picked up or released.
