The Field·Reporting System (ReportWISE) supports the data validation, and auto·population of incident reports that are created through the ReportWISE field reporting software. The in·car creation of reports allows officers to electronically create and submit edited supplemental and crash reports (Ohio OH1 Form). Supervisor·approved reports are then automatically entered into the police records database CRS and an “as filed” PDF incident report is placed in the content management database. The “as filed” feature creates an immutable copy of the approved incident report. The ReportWISE application supports supplemental reports, which also creates a PDF version of the information to be stored in the content management database. On·demand incident reports containing all information presently available on the incident are available for printing, as is an on·demand redacted version of the incident.
